We thank you for registering to attend the 2nd Annual Township Economy Summit in Tembisa, GP on the 20 & 21 of November 2025. We would like to invite you to submit your pitch application.
Your business must be an existing business (Already operational business) for the opportunity to pitch and possibly win a share of R 100 000.00 towards your business needs. The grand prize consists of a cash prize portion and a business support mentorship.
The selection of the pitch participants will be dependent on the below criteria and the pitch video that will be sent to us and it is important to note that the selection is discretionary.
Criteria – Kasi Pitching Challenge:
1. Must be based in and operate within a township
2. Business must be running for more than 2 years
3. Must have all compliance documents
4. Must be South African-owned, Level 1 BBBEE, and a micro enterprise
5. Submit a 1-minute pitch video
If you meet the above mentioned criteria please record a 1minute maximum video of your pitch telling us about the business, why you deserve the opportunity to pitch for the grand prize mentioned above, which you will upload to this link a video not more than a 100MB.
The entries close on the 8th November 2025 (Saturday) at 13:00pm sharp, no late entries will be considered. If you don’t hear back from our team by 14 November 2025 (Friday) at 17:00pm consider your application unsuccessful. The Team will contact you via WhatsApp and Email to let you know if you have been successful. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
